 The objective of this article is to provide you with down-to-earth natural tips to prevent obesity and it's related disorders. Treating obesity is quite challenging. It is better to help people to live a healthy than try to lose weight. It requires inner tenacity and positive mind-set to change condition.
 
 Advice to prevent obesity

  • Eat meals which contain plenty of fiber, and not too much fat or sugar.      
  • Eat snacks which are not energy-rich. Eat foods such as fruits
  • Do not drink too much alcohol
  • Take regular exercise. The best type of exercise is one which moves all parts of the body and makes you breathe a little faster than at rest (but not gasp for breath). For example, walking briskly or uphill, digging the garden, dancing, or playing football. But any physical activity, such as walking to work or using the stairs instead of the lift.                                                                                                                                                                                                 


Foods which people think of as FATTENING

Some people think of certain foods as 'bad' or 'fattening'. It may help to explain these points to them:

  • Fatty foods are not 'bad' foods; it is essential to eat a certain amount of fat, espeacially essential fatty acids. Fatty foods cause overnutrition only if you eat too much.
  • Starchy foods such as potatoes and bread are not fattening 
  • Fruits and other foods which contain unrefined sugar are not 'fattening', because they contain fibre. they are not energy-rich.

Many fat people often ask for ways to lose weight. As a  result others have taken advantage of this in scamming people with "magical" products of weight loss. Well, I don't intend to criticize these products- of course I know some are very quality- but I am interested in helping you to prevent obesity itself because trying to slim down is a waste of time.There are different ways to lose weight which suit different people. For most people the best advice is:
  • Eat smaller amounts of foods at each meal. Eat healthy 'mixed' meals, but take less. It may help to drink a glass of water before meals to 'fill you up'. At each meal, stop eating before you feel quite full.
  • Eat less fatty foods
  • Eat less sugar-rich food( add less or no sugar to tea, coffee and porridge)
